British Atmospheric Data Centre
The role of the BADC is to assist UK atmospheric researchers to locate, access and interpret atmospheric data and to ensure the long-term integrity of atmospheric data produced by NERC projects. The BADC has substantial data holdings of its own and also provides information and links to data held by other data centres.
(When they say 'Extensive Links to other sites on the World Wide Web' they ain't just whistling Dixie.)

Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center (CDIAC)
CDIAC responds to data and information requests from users from all over the world who are concerned with the greenhouse effect and global climate change. CDIAC's data holdings include records of the concentrations of carbon dioxide and other radiatively active gases in the atmosphere; the role of the terrestrial biosphere and the oceans in the biogeochemical cycles of greenhouse gases; emissions of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere; long-term climate trends; the effects of elevated carbon dioxide on vegetation; and the vulnerability of coastal areas to rising sea level.

Center for Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change
The Center for the Study of Carbon Dioxide and Global Change was created to disseminate factual reports and sound commentary on new developments in the world-wide scientific quest to determine the climatic and biological consequences of the ongoing rise in the air's CO2 content ... In addition, to help students and teachers gain greater insight into the biological aspects of potential global change, the Center maintains on-line instructions on how to conduct CO2 enrichment and depletion experiments in its Global Change Laboratory (located in its Experiments section), which allow interested parties to conduct similar studies in their own homes and classrooms. Climate Alliance - Klima-Bündnis - Alianza del Clima e.V., Klima-Bündnis der europäischen Städte mit indigenen Völkern der Regenwälder
The Climate Alliance is a partnership between European local authorities and indigenous rainforest peoples with the goal of protecting the earth´s atmosphere. The 830 European member cities work jointly on drawing up and implementing climate protection action plans and cooperate with the indigenous partners to preserve tropical rainforests.

Climate Change Solutions - greenhouse gas emission reduction strategies to reduce global warming
( - English Version) is Canada's emerging "megasite" of resources on actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Climatic Research Unit (UK)
The Climatic Research Unit is widely recognised as one of the world's leading institutions concerned with the study of natural and anthropogenic climate change.

David Suzuki Foundation: A Canadian environmental research and education organization.
The David Suzuki Foundation is a science-based Canadian environmental organization, specializing in global warming, sustainable forestry, salmon farming and fisheries.

EPA Global Warming Site
With the Global Warming Site, we strive to present accurate and timely information related to climate change and global warming in a way that is accessible and meaningful to all parts of society -- communities, individuals, business, public officials and governments.

Global Warming -- The Cooler Heads Coalition
This web site is a project of the Cooler Heads Coalition, a sub-group of the National Consumer Coalition. Need Information for a research project? Check out our Student Research Page to help you quickly find the information you need.

One thousand links for anyone who wants to learn how North America uses its fossil fuel resources.

NASA's Global Change Master Directory
NASA's Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) is a comprehensive directory of descriptions of data sets of relevance to global change research. The GCMD database includes descriptions of data sets (DIFs) covering climate change, agriculture, the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere & oceans, geology, geography, and human dimensions of global change.

National Council for Science and the Environment
The National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) works to improve the scientific basis for environmental decisionmaking. Guided by the needs of stakeholders, NCSE educates society about the importance of comprehensive scientific programs that integrate cross-cutting research with knowledge assessments, education, information dissemination, and training.

NOAA Geospatial Data and Climate Services Group Home Page
The primary mission of the GeoSpatial Data and Climate Services (GDCS) group within the office of the NESDIS Chief Information Officer is to provide a cross-cutting service to all of NOAA regarding data, information, and other services needed to support data management activities within NESDIS, across all NOAA Line Offices, with other federal agencies, as well as with international organizations on matters of data and information management.

The UK Emission Factors Database
The UK National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) covers the whole of the UK. Emissions are presented on a 1 km x 1 km grid square based on the Ordnance Survey National Grid. The DETR Urban Inventories, also based on an Ordnance Survey 1 km x 1 km grid have been prepared for a number of urban areas in the UK. These urban inventories provide data to a greater resolution that is available in the NAEI.

(Among other things, this site shows Climate Change Simulations covering the years of 2000-2089 in several groupings.)

US Global Change Research Information Office (global warming)
The US Global Change Research Information Office (GCRIO) provides access to data and information on global environmental change research, adaptation/mitigation strategies and technologies, and global change related educational resources on behalf of the US Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) and its participating Federal Agencies and Organizations. GCRIO is implemented by The Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) at Columbia University.

World Climate Report
World Climate Report is the nation's leading publication covering the breaking news concerning the science and political science of global climate change. WCR has been proven to be an effective tool in pointing out the weaknesses and fallacies in the science which is being touted as "proof" of disastrous greenhouse warming. It's the perfect antidote against those who argue for proposed changes to the Rio Climate Treaty which are aimed at limiting carbon emissions from the United States.
